November 2007 Studio Newsletter
Be sure to check out the new ballet shoes, pink tights and leotards that we have for sale. We know it’s been a real struggle this fall to find dancewear locally; we do plan to keep these in stock. We hope that this will be a help to you all, if you do not find the particular size of an item you are looking for please let us know – this will be of help to us when we order merchandise.
Studio News:
Please note that the studio is open on Veteran’s Day – classes will operate as normal.
We will be closed on November 22 & 23 to observe Thanksgiving.
Please make sure that you’re pulling the main door closed behind you as everyone is entering and leaving the building. With the cold weather the door doesn’t want to shut as easily as it had a few weeks ago.
v As the month of December approaches, please remember that all costume rental fees must be paid by 12/1. All payments received after that date will have a $10 late fee. Costumes that are not paid for will not be ordered. If you aren’t sure of your costume balance, please see Sasha.
v All dancers will be measured for costumes the week of November 12 -16. Please make class a priority during that time; if you miss being measured at that time, we will finish up taking measurements the week of November 26 – 30. All students must be measured no later than the 30th of Nov.
v Come watch Celebration Street students participate in “The Nutcracker” November 18 at Jacoby Auditorium 3:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased at Northwest Lifestyles on Jackson Street. Students dancing from C-Street this year are: Rachel Denny, Elizabeth Denny, Tyler Minnis, Alex Martinez, Gretchen Lucido, Isabelle Green, Rosetta Jones, Andrea Jones & Kendra Polzel – Congratulations girls! We can’t wait to watch you dance.
v Pre-Pointe auditions for Ballet students at the Intermediate Level will take place the week of December 10th 2007. Please see Miss Laura or Miss Sasha for the requirements for Pre-Pointe.
Mark your calendars!
