We are in the need of Showcase Volunteers! On the back of your Recital Packet is information on being a backstage volunteer. We need 2 parents from almost every Lower School class to help with the children, as well as helpers to dress older dancers. This is the key to keeping the Recital moving smoothly and on time. Please consider volunteering, we need parents from the Intro level classes, 2 per class and one more for Joys R Us. If you would like to help and dont see your name on the list below, please see Sasha. We also could use help with the Upper School classes too J

May 28th Memorial Day, the studio will be closed to observe the holiday
June 9th Studio recital pictures at Studio-Gagliano, 310 NE Boston St. Suite 2.
Boston Street is directly off of Diamond Lake Blvd on the left hand side of the street. Please make bring your child dressed in their costume, ready to go. If your child is in more than one dance please bring all their costumes. It is extremely important that you be on time as we are on a very strict time table. Dress rehearsal is mandatory for all dancers. If you should miss the dress rehearsal you will not perform in the Recital. This is a dress rehearsal, please make sure several days before to organize your dance items that you will need to bring, make sure you have all your shoes and costumes and their accessories. Please make sure your name is in all your things. Please come with your hair and makeup done a photographer will be taking pictures of the rehearsal and we would like everyone to look their best, these pictures will be available for sale through Vivid Photography.

Wow, the Showcase is quickly approaching! With just a few weeks left please make class attendance a high priority. A reminder as well that all rehearsals the week of the Showcase are mandatory, if you miss Dress Rehearsal you will not be able to dance in the Showcase. With Pictures and the Showcase just a few weeks away please make sure that you dancer has the required leotard and shoes for their dances, if you have questions about those items, you can refer to you Showcase Packet or please enquire in the office
June Tuition - June tuition is due and paid in advance with May tuition as stated in the Student Parent Handbook, June tuition may be made in payments as long as its paid in full on or before May 10th. All accounts must be paid current and in full no later than May 10th with all fees paid for dancers to be eligible to dance in the Recital.
Tights & Leotards for Showcase Tights for the Recital are included with your childs costumes to ensure that everyone has the same color and style, please save these tights for Pictures and Recital only do not wear them in class.
Students in Tuesday Beg. Ballet, Beg. Jazz, Intermediate Jazz, Intro to Jazz, and Sr. Company will need to purchase a black camisole top style leotard to wear beneath their costumes. Intro to Hip-Hop can wear either a tank or camisole style black leotard. We ask this for modesty reasons. Some of the tops are not lined or they may be a 2-piece outfit, we do not want any midriffs showing.
We recommend purchasing these items from either Discount Dancewear or Dance Distributors, we will be more than happy to provide catalogs and ordering information should you need it. Please order these items in time for our studio photo shoot June 9th. Make sure all items have your childs name marked on it with permanent maker.
Costumes Costumes are starting to arrive, after all alterations have been done on costumes they will be available to go home with you. All costumes when picked up must be signed for by a parent to ensure that you have received your costumes and all accessories. You will be responsible for them at picture time as well as bringing them to and from Dress Rehearsal and the Recital. Please do not wear them other than for Studio Pictures, Dress Rehearsal and the Recital so that they stay in good condition and that those pieces are not lost before these events. Costumes and their accessories are non-replaceable.
The Summer Dance Program begins on July 17th
