June 2007 Studio Newsletter

June is finally here, very soon all the months of hard work will pay off for our dancers! We will soon take the stage in the name of Jesus and dance joyfully in His name. Please help spread the word of our June Recital to family, friends & co-workers, not only will your children be demonstrating the skills they have learned over the past year but most importantly ministering and praising the Lord with their dance. Over the years, we have had several attendees of our Recitals accept the Lord that very night – we are very excited to share this event with you and our community.

Tickets are on sale now at the pre-sale price of $5, they are only available at this price until Friday June 15^th. After that date tickets may be purchased at the door on the night of Recital for the price of $8.

June 9^th – Studio recital pictures at Studio-Gagliano, 310 NE Boston St. Suite 2.

Boston Street is directly off of Diamond Lake Blvd on the left-hand side of the street. Please make bring your child dressed in their costume, ready to go. If your child is in more than one dance please bring all their costumes. It is extremely important that you be on time as we are on a very strict timetable. Below is the following time schedule for pictures, please note the time changes for both Beg. Ballet & Beg. Jazz Classes. A sample order form with pricing will be tacked onto our bulletin board by the stairs, all orders must be paid for at the time of ordering. Studio-Gagliano is graciously donating a portion of all picture sales back to Celebration Street’s Dancer Scholarship Program, we would like to thank them in advance for their donations J

June 16^th Umpqua Discovery Days performance - Shine Dane Company and Wed. Precious Moments

Rehearsal at the Studio June 18^th & 19th

Monday June 18^th and Tuesday June 19^th at the studio for all Lower School Classes and select Upper School Classes. These class times will take the place of what would be regularly scheduled dance classes. There will be no regular dance classes held on Wednesday June 20^th or Friday June 22^nd. Joys R Us will meet at the same day & time as normal, Advanced classes will meet as per Miss Laura’s direction.

June 21, 2007 All Studio Dress & Technical Rehearsal at Jacoby Auditorium 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Dress rehearsal is mandatory for all dancers. If you should miss the dress rehearsal you will not perform in the Recital. This is a dress rehearsal, please make sure several days before to organize your dance items that you will need to bring, make sure you have all your shoes and costumes and their accessories. Please make sure your name is in all your things. Please come with your hair and makeup done – a photographer will be taking pictures of the rehearsal and we would like everyone to look their best, these pictures will be available for sale through Vivid Photography.

Parents, please make sure you feed your child something substantial before rehearsal.
