April 2008 Studio Newsletter
Welcome back! We hope you all had a great Spring Break and that you are well rested and healthy! The count down has begun; there are only about 8 more weeks of regular classes until our Recital! With that in mind, we ask that you keep class time a very important priority in your familys schedule. Now is the polishing time for our dances, when dancers miss class there is no opportunity to go backwards and catch up, our dances are only as good in class as they will be on stage. We dont strive for perfection but do strive for excellence. At this point, dancers who fall behind in their dances will either be asked to take private lessons to get caught up or may have their spot in the dance changed or revoked.
We are in the need of Showcase Volunteers! On the back of your Recital Packet is information on being a backstage volunteer. We need 2 parents from almost every class to help with the children, as well as helpers to dress older dancers. This is the key to keeping the Recital moving smoothly and on time. Please consider volunteering, sign up sheets will be on the bulletin board for you to see what classes need assistance.
Summer Dance Camps - Summer Dance Camps will be held in July. Ages 4 -12 get ready for some fun! Our themes this year are Princess & 50s/Sock Hop Camps. A great time for dance, crafts, stories and fun. You may register in the office or on our website! Class space is limited to only 12 dancers per session. Tell your friends !!! This is going to be such a fun time We are NOW taking registrations; in the office and online at our website.
